You can help to defeat this proposal

The parent council will work with the Fort Parent Council and prepare a detailed response to the council during the consultation process and we will provide news on the campaign via this website, newsletters and mailing list. We can not overturn this proposal alone, and welcome any help that the parents at Trinity can provide.

The consultation will involve public consultation and it is important that we demonstrate that there is widespread opposition to this proposal at these events. Ultimately though it is the local councillors for the City of Edinburgh who will approve or reject this proposal and we need to ensure that they understand the impact on our school and that we oppose this scheme.

There are a number of areas that are worth considering:

1. What can you do to directly help the campaign?

2. What are some of the key issues?

3. Who's who? Who are the people involved in this proposal and how can they be contacted?

4. What else can I do?

But most important of all, keep up the pressure on our local councillors and council officials. If it would help there are template emails available here and also here which may be of use.
